In the square centre there is the sculptural composition, devoted to the Soviet Army, liberated Moldova from German and Romanian fascists in 1944. It was placed in 1969. It was projected by I. Gritsenko, A. Kolotovkin, A. Minaev, F. Naumov. The monument is located in the intersection of Stephen the Great and K. Negruti boulevards.
