This is one of the best monuments created recently. It is usual to see natural flowers at the poet's feet. His monument, from the moment of erecting the poet's bust in the Alley of Classical Authors, is the favourite place of laying flowers. This monument does not tower on the pedestal, we see the beloved poet near, thoughtfully postured and full of grandeur and sorrowful determination as if he was awaiting the meeting... with us. It simbolizes the fact that he is alive, in our hearts.
